are helping the children with their craft.
Think of it as one more opportunity to
reinforce the Bible truth for the day.
What You Will Need:
•
Craft Foam
•
Cotton Balls
•
Copies Of Small Gingerbread Man Pattern
•
Construction Paper
•
Glue Sticks
• Crayons
Getting Things Ready:
1.
Cut one 4”x6” piece of craft foam per child.
2.
Cut one 4”x5” piece of construction paper per child
3. Cut out one small gingerbread man from construction paper per child
Step by Step:
1.
Make a Bed
a.
Give each child one 4”x6” piece of craft foam.
b. Instruct or assist each child to glue the cotton balls to the top section of the foam where it
will serve as a pillow.
2.
Make a Blanket Pocket
a.
Give each child one 4”x5” piece of construction paper.
b. Using the glue sticks, glue the bottom and outside edges of the construction paper to
the bottom and outside edges of the foam mat.
c.
This will create a pocket for our lame man.
3.
Let the Miracle Be Seen
a.
Give each child a small gingerbread man
b.
Let them color their man
c. When they are finished they can put the man in and take him out of the pocket to show
that he has been healed.
