Zacchaeus
In The Tree
Luke 19:1-10
Directions: 1. Copy the craft page
onto cardstock. 2. Have the children cut
out the tree and the Zacchaeus figure. Consider precutting these
for younger preschoolers. 3. Decorate the tree with
the tissue paper squares. 4. Color Zacchaeus and
tape the Popsicle stick to his back. 5. When the child is
finished, a leader will cut a slit in the tree to stick the Zacchaeus
puppet through. 6. If time permits, have
the children retell the story to each other using their craft
as a prop.

Cardstock
Crayons/markers
Green and brown tissue paper
(cut into 1”x1” squares)
Scissors
Popsicle sticks
Glue sticks
Tape
